When I was developing ideas for my first post for Rad Redemption I wanted a unique piece that would show you guys the image I was going for. I walked through the mall going in and out of stores for hours and nothing really caught my attention. I came home from the mall defeated and exhausted, but I wasn't going to give up. I needed the perfect piece that would serve as my first impression. While I was going through my closet one last time, like when you are hungry and open your refrigerator over and over again as if all your favorite meal is going to magically pop up, I actually found something! There, sitting in the back of my closet, was an old jean jacket I used to constantly wear years back. I decided that instead of giving it away, I would put it to good use once last time.
I decided to spray paint Rad Redemption on the back of the jacket and decorate it with iron on stickers that I liked and went with the vibe I imagined. Anything denim is in at the moment. Jackets, jeans, skirts you name it. For this reason, instead of throwing or giving away a pair of jeans you haven't worn in a while, maybe giving them a makeover will do the trick.
All you need is spray paint, letter stencils, iron on stickers (which you can find at any craft store), and an iron. It's super simple, barely takes any time and leaves you with a new piece in your wardrobe that is unique and your very own.
I didn't know if I was going to end up using it once for the shoot and that's it, but I ended up loving the results and use it everywhere I go since I made it. It represents my brand, myself and a project I put a lot of effort into, which I am proud of!
I hope you guys enjoyed this little DIY project and create something that is unique and special to you!
